A busy summer is ahead of us!

Whew. I am exhausted just thinking about the summer that is approaching here! We have a busy summer, which happens when you work with youth. And it all starts this weekend. We have a youth summer pool party kick off on Friday, followed by a car wash (to raise money for World Changers), followed by VBS, followed by the summer camp in Georgia, followed by the World Changers pre-retreat, followed by our personal vacation to Knoxville, Louisville (hopefully), and Gatlinburg, followed by World Changers to Evansville, Indiana, Followed by (hopefully) a much needed trip to Pensacola to spend time with the family. (we have not been to Pensacola since Christmas!) And that, my friends, takes us to August! So that is our summer! Exhausting I am sure, but I am sure it will be filled with much fun and joy! We will be taking a total of three trips without the babies! *gasp* No need to fear - Grandma MiMi will be taking very good care of the little lads! Mom has graciously offered to keep the babies for us (I am sure I had to twist her arm for her to agree to spend 2 1/2 weeks with those precious grand-babies of hers!)

May seemed to be a busy (and long) month for us as well. We went to visit Mike's family in Florida. Mike preached at his dad's church that Sunday. It is always a blessing to hear Mike preach - the Lord truly has gifted that boy! I am proud to be his bride!

Mike's brother in-law, Paul has been working out of town. He came back into town, unexpectedly for a funeral. The kids were all excited to see him and piled on him during church.

Last weekend, Mom and Dad came up and kept the babies while Mike and I took the youth to Hillsong! It was amazing, incredible, and awesome!!! If you guys don't listen to Hillsong United, you must go to itunes this minute and download them. They are unbelievable. We sing there songs at church on Wednesday's and I have many of the CD's always playing on my ipod - so it was awesome to be able to see them live. One day, Mike and I will take a vacation to Sydney, Australia and worship at Hillsong - we might be 90 when it happens, but hopefully one day it will.

The day after the concert, we had a wedding that we all attended in Georgia. Malissa's (Eric's wife) sister, Michelle got married. We planned to get there early and left in more than enough time. As we pulled up to the ceremony site, we notcied there were lots of people already there. Then we noticed that Adam and Michelle were already in front of them. My first thought was, "That's odd - they are taking pictures in front of all of their guests!" Well - that was NOT the case at all! Georgia is an hour AHEAD of us! (Different time zone then here). So, we were not early indeed! In Fact, we were about 15 minutes late! And the wedding was only about 20-25 minutes long. So we caught the ring exchange and kiss. None the less, it was a beautiful ceremony, with a beautiful bride, (and a beautiful matron of honor), a beautiful reception, and they drove off married!

Her dress was her mom's dress that they adjusted for her!
The boys loved crawling in the grass at the wedding!
