Paintings in my Home

This post is specifically for Marty. She saw bits of this painting in one of my pics and asked about it. And well, I am pretty proud of these paintings so I would enjoy sharing them with all!

My brother is an artist (and a musician, and a painter, and a creative remodeler, and a creative tile working man, and etc....). He made these paintings back in college and let Mike and I have them to put in our home. I LOVE them and love having them on our walls. These paintings give my living room personality and just "fit" us in our home. They are common discussions when people come to our home for the first time and even those that don't know the Lord ask about these paintings. We have had many "professional" people inquire about them (Ie: locksmith, Air Condition Repair men, LandLord, Cable guy, etc)

This one is a collage of canvas pieces that have been put together to form the three crosses on Calvary.

This is my FAVORITE. It is a picture of Jesus' hand on the cross. LOVE LOVE LOVE this one!

I have a few more in our home - one is of Mary holding Jesus - that one is the boy's play room. Used to be in their nursery, but when we moved to this house we didn't have enough room in their room.

Oh, I almost forgot... This is his beautiful bride (one of my best friends), Malissa. See her dress?

He made that too! Pretty neat huh?
