This is us last year:
The boys went as "Spaghetti and Meatballs" and I was the cook! The boys took away the "Most Creative" last year.
Mike went as our music minister (while two other guys impersonated Mike and our pastor) They took away "The Funniest" last year. This year I wanted to do a theme and wanted it cute! So, I was in line at Publix and my sweet cashier had an "I heart Publix" button on her uniform. I commented that I would love to have one of those and she asked if I was going as a "publix girl" for halloween! Ah ha!!! There was my idea.
So, she let me borrow her uniform and made me my OWN name tag! I glued TONS of coupons on a shirt and Mike went as my coupons (I was "Checking" him out - get it?!?) And they boys were our little "Buy One Get One free" items! Michael's shirt said "$4.99" and Jeremiah's said "FREE" - On the back of Michael's was "BO" (buy one) and on the back of Jeremiah's was "GO" (Get One).
The theme was complete with a legit car shopping cart that Publix let me borrow! (Thanks Publix!) We won first place and the prize was tickets to Peter Pan at Shakespeare! (A value of $80!!!)

You are hilarious! That's so clever, and how kind of Publix to loan you all of that stuff. I heart Publix!
That has got to be the funniest family dress up idea I've ever heard of!
