Another Catch-Up Post:
Day Sixty-Six: March 7, 2011 - Day Seventy-One: March 12, 2011

I know that it has been a week again since I posted. I apologize. I have been trying to not be on the computer as often and have been trying to go to bed earlier, so that has resulted in some things just not having top priority - But here is an update for you guys! :)

Monday: Day Sixty-Six: March 7, 2011
Not too much excitement for Monday. I had my Bible Study (that I am just loving and so thankful for!) in the morning and then we went to Bi-Lo afterwards to pick up a few things. I went to Wendy's with the boys afterwards for lunch and we ran into an old college friend and her husband there. We ate with them and had a great time just chatting and spending some time with them! It was such a fun treat!

Often it happens that we are near the end of the day and I haven't gotten a picture that day. This was that day. I tried to get one at dinner but Michael was not having anything to do with that. I couldn't get him to look at me and when he did it was to say "No picture either!" (When they put "either" on the end of their sentence they mean business!

Day #66: March 7, 2011

See? Business.

Tuesday: Day Sixty-Seven: March 7, 2011
I had a doctor's appointment today. Just a regular yearly check up. I had much anxiety built up around this appointment though. Remember all those fear struggles I have?!? Well, since I have been walking with the Lord on a mission to break this bondage, it has seemed much more difficult and the realization of what a stronghold it had on my life has been very present. The Lord led me to the passage in Psalm 91. I remember when I dealt with fear as a child, my grandmother told me to read this passage. For a long time I would go to sleep with it opened to that passage in my bed. I wrote Psalm 91 in a Moleskin Notebook and would pull it out all through the week. In a moment of fear/worry/not trusting the Lord, I would bring it out and pray through it. The day of my appointment I was reading Psalm 51 and came across a verse that said "For you desire truth in the most inward parts." This battle I have is in my thoughts and mind - He desires TRUTH from me - not fear, fear that is based on everything BUT Truth! I wrote that verse on my hand (sorry, Mom and Dad - I know I shouldn't write on my body :) ) and when a fearful thought came in my mind I would refer to it - He desires TRUTH! I have no reason to fear a doctor's appointment, but for some reason I just did. I was just uneasy - and so I kept pulling the Moleskin notebook out and praying through Psalm 91. As I drove home that afternoon from a VERY normal appointment I felt a peace and almost a sense of freedom. The truth is that I have no control of my life. The Truth is that HE is sovereign. The Truth is that HE is good. The Truth is that HE has ordained my life. The Truth is that I must REST in HIS truth. I know all this (I do), but Tuesday I felt that it was in my soul - like I got it! How I long for Truth to be in the most inward parts of me - all the time! The next day we were studying Psalm 107 (oh how that passage as ministered to my soul this week - in so many ways! How the Lord LONGS to and is ready to show compassion to His children when they cry out to him from their sin and despair!) in Psalm 107:20 it says "He sent out His word and healed them!" The Lord healed me this week through His word - in more ways then just the freedom I feel from fear. To apply God's Truth from His word to our lives is healing! It has been for me!

After I got home from the Dr. we went out to eat at Ruby Tuesday's with Malissa. I had a GREAT coupon :) and so we all enjoyed the meal and the boys did great! I must say that I am very proud of their public eating manners :) Makes for a happy meal by all!

Day #67: March 8, 2011

Malissa sat in the back of our car in between the boys - they got a kick out of that and loved playing with her!

Wednesday: Day Sixty-Eight: March 9, 2011
We didn't do much Wednesday. Just lounged around. It stormed, so we weathered that and then went on to church.

Day #68: March 9, 2011

Typical Boy!

Thursday: Day Sixty-Nine: March 10, 2011
Thursday was an eventful day:

1.) We had a phone conference with a tax guy that was VERY encouraging and informative! We have had a time trying to figure out what to do with our 2010 taxes and how to set up our 2011 taxes. See minister's taxes are just down right confusing! We can't figure this out on our own, so we need help! We have had several people "help" but it has been a bit frustrating and we were not comfortable sending out taxes to them. So we have prayed for wisdom, discernment, and peace and for the Lord to make it clear in our conversation with this guy, if this is who we needed to use! And He did - during the meeting, Mike wrote on a paper that this was the guy - and I agreed! We have so much peace and a huge weight it lifted off our shoulders!

2.) My new vacuum came in! My old one broke in pieces - not mechanical broke, but physical broken - literally into pieces! So I found the one I have been wanting on Amazon - originally for $130 - on sale for $97. I opened an Amazon account and got an immediate $30 off and I had $15 in Swagbucks gift cards! So I paid $52! So excited. And it works great - it has a cord "wrapper" - you press a button and it wraps the cord up! the boys LOVE to press the button for me!

3.) I mopped my wood floors for the first time since we moved here! No, we are not messy people - actually I like to believe that we keep a very clean, orderly home, but these wood floors NEVER looks dirty! It is amazing - I love it! But now, they are a tad bit shinier and just the thought of them being extra clean makes this clean momma's heart happy!

Day #69: March 10, 2011

Friday: Day Seventy: March 11, 2011
I finished cleaning our house for company that was coming and then made a quick trip to Vidalia to pick up a few things that we needed. There I found some Thomas the Train Pj's on sale! (This made for two SUPER happy toddlers!)

Then I ran to CVS to pick up these three things for $2.48

Transaction #1: Shick Razor:
- $8.99 - $2 Coupon = $6.99 - $6.58ECB = .41 (with $5 ecb back)

Transaction #2: Gillett Razor:
- $9.99 - $4 Coupon = $5.99 - $5ECB = .99 (with $4 ecb back)

Transaction #3: Eye Solution:
- $7.99 - $3 Coupon = $4.99 - $4ECB = .99 (with $4 ecb back)

I love CVS!

Then I rushed home to change and pick up Mike and the boys and we went to our Alma Mater, Brewton-Parker College to watch a baseball game that a couple from TRBC in Montgomery came down to watch. The Gobers grandson plays baseball for Faulkner and they were playing BPC in a tournament this weekend. So they came down and we got to spend the evening with them. It was so much fun! We watched the rest of the game with them and then we went to dinner in Vidalia. We are so blessed to know them - they are so sweet and just pure joy to be around!

Day #70: March 11, 2011

Mrs. Becky with Jeremiah

Saturday: Day Seventy-One: March 12, 2011
I can describe today in one word: joy!

Our really good friends, The Beaudry's drove from Montgomery this morning to spend the weekend with us! How we love them! One thing I love about the ministry is the people!!! I am so thankful that the Lord allows us to live life with people and share in this journey with them!

After lunch today we took the Beaudry's on a tour of Soperton. Then we cooked dinner, fellowshipped and played a fierce game of pictionary on the Wii. It was fun and the Beaudry's bring with them much laughter! They are just fun to be with! Before we really knew them, I would love to sit at the same table they sat at during Sunday School - watching the two of them interact with each other is one of the greatest sights! You just have to experience it to know - it's great!

Day #71: March 12, 2011

Kelley told us if we put our ears to the tracks you could hear the trains - we didn't hear a thing!
