I had an ultrasound today to check my cervical length. If I was measuring too short it would be an indication for bed rest and preterm labor. So I told Mike that we need to pray for a very long cervix! Well the average cervix measures 2.5 -3cm, well my cervix was SIX CM!!!! It was double what the average cervix is! This is such a blessing!!! Because I was at such high risk for bedrest and preterm with the 2 uteruses this is such good news!!! Dr. Nett was so excited. She said that normally I am her difficult patient but today she is going to sleep better tonight! This means that I have a decreased risk for bedrest and have a better chance at somewhat fullterm delivery. As long as my blood pressure stays good and I don't have contractions she is not going to be quick to put me on bedrest! She said I was measuring 24 weeks (I am only 18 weeks). So I am 6 weeks ahead on growth - and I will keep growing!
As for the boys, they are doing excellent! Michael is so calm and laid back - very cooperative! And Jeremiah is a different story - I don't think we have seen him still for more then a second - it was so hard for her to get his heart beat because he kept moving and moving and moving! Mike and I were talking about how they already have two different personalities! I am so excited that I get to see them so often. I will go to the doctor every two weeks and have an ultrasound every 4 weeks as long as everything is going well. I have already had 5 ultrasounds and will have at least 5 more (or more).
Well, that is about it! We feel so blessed to be pregnant with these boys and feel so blessed that everything is going great!

I'm so glad everything is going so great and that you might not even have to go on bedrest at all- woohoo!
