12,000 words worth of pictures!

Here are a few updates on the boys:
- They are now going TWELVE hours at night!!! Whoo Hoo! I feed them at 8:00-8:30 at night and they wake up to eat around 8 in the morning. Once they start sleeping longer in the morning, I am going to move their bedtime up to 7:30ish. That is the goal!

- Because of the long stretch at night I have had to adjust their daily schedule to accomodate 5 feedings a day. I am not sure if they can have just 4 feedings a day yet. We go to the pediatrician on the 22nd, so I will be sure to ask him. Right now they have one four hour stretch in between feedings in the morning (Due to their LONG nap), then they go every 3 hours in the afternoon.

- They both seem to be on the verge of giggling! They will smile at you all day (unless they are frantically hungry) and will sit there and talk to you . They are such a joy and a blessing! Jeremiah has started to enjoy his hands and loves to lay there with his fist high in the air. Michael's new thing is that he loves to "fly" in the air, and he will bring his legs so high above his body.

- We had our first nursery experiences! Mike preached at a church here in Pensacola, so I took the boys in the nursery so that we wouldn't be distracted. They were the only babies in there so that was nice (for me - and for them, I am sure). I told the worker that in about 30 minutes they would start to get tired and told her what I do, etc. When we came back they thanked me for letting them love on our boys and just said what a joy they were! She said that they got tired right when I said they would and so she laid them down and turned on the monitor so they could here the sermon. She said within five minutes of them listening to Mike, they fell asleep. (Either Dad's voice soothes them, or puts them to sleep :) ) It is so nice to have predicatable babies on a good schedule! It makes things so much easier for me and for people that are watching them! Our other experience was at a huge church that we went to last Sunday. I knew the music would be loud so we took them to the nursery. It was a different experience then the first time. It was a lot bigger, more babies, more workers, more paperwork, etc... I felt fine leaving them, but I knew they wouldn't do as well as the first time. This time it was in the morning during their long nap, and I knew they wouldn't sleep well in the very bright, noisy room. She said they slept about 25 minutes, which is fine - they caught up for it in the afternoon.

I haven't been able to post pictures lately because I lost my camera cord - but HAVE NO FEAR - I found it last night and so here are some pictures from the past week or two - some are older, and some are new... Enjoy! :)

Napping on Grandma MiMi's bed

Michael was fussy, and Granddaddy put him on his chest and hummed deaply - he was so content!

Michael playing with Daddy

Look at those dimples!

Jeremiah was INTENTIONALLY touching Dad's beard!

When we celebrated my birthday - I am quarter of a century old!

Our dear family friend, "Aunt" Carol and Jeremiah

Both of my boys! Jeremiah JUST woke up - He is so sleepy.

Handsome boys! I'm so glad they are sleeping so long for you now and that they are being so good in the nursery. I can tell you are doing a great job with them!

Molly ...
We haven't met, but I saw my blog linked to yours! What beautiful baby boys! We will have to meet up sometime, to celebrate/commiserate about the joys/stresses of raising twin boys! So glad to see another twin momma using cloth diapers!
