Vidalia Onion Festival

This past weekend Mike and I and our little bobblins went to Vidalia for the Vidalia Onion Festival. Our intentions were to take part in the many activities that they offer, however with the heat and exhaustion from the little guys, we only went to two things and called it a day.

Here is a video of poor Jeremiah! He was so tired and fell smack asleep while eating dinner. This has never happened before!!! I told you they were tired, or at least Jeremiah was, Michael was ready to party:

We did have a great time spending a few days with Eric and Malissa! They are always such a joy to be around and we cherish our time together. Malissa and I spent most of the time taking care of the little men while Mike and Eric did what they normally do as well as making a home-made golf course in Eric's back yard! Now, when they go to sell the house they can market it that they live on a golf-course!
We also got to see Robbie and LeeAnn. They are our friends from college and seminary. Both of them were in our wedding and are very dear to us. They have two little boys, Elijah (3) and Jedidiah (1) and she is currently pregnant with their 3rd! It was great to catch up with them and love on their kiddos.

The boys are doing great and continue to bless our lives in more ways then we could have ever imagined! I know I probably mention this in every post, but we are blessed beyond measure - being a wife and a mother is just awesome - it is what I was made to do!

The twins are continuing to grow and learn new things and do many new things. Here are some of their recent accomplishments:
- Michael AND Jeremiah now can say Duck. Isn't it wild that that was BOTH of their first words? I think it is because we repeated "duck" so much to hear Michael say it that Jeremiah hopped on board. I think Jeremiah might have said ball the other day, but can't be sure about it. Both of them were saying Duck last night in their bath and this morning.
- Michael can say "cup" and "book"
- Jeremiah enjoys waking up at 3 in the morning to babble with inflation's in his voice. It is a sweet sound, even at 3 in the morning!
- They both have two teeth now. The upper right tooth has come in, and the upper left ones are breaking through. I am amazed that they boys are doing the exact same things at the exact same time. sometimes I do wonder if they are identical...
- They are champion crawlers and scooters and love to stand. We are practicing walking while holding on to our hands - they don't enjoy that very much yet.
- They can both sign "more" and "all done" but have yet to do it at the appropriate times.
- They are eating more and more table foods. One of their favorites is......

Spaghetti!!!

whew, for not blogging for a while I think I did a pretty good job of a "getting back into things" type of post!

LOVE the video! :) Also cute pictures-as always. The boys are looking so much older these days-it's amazing how quickly they become little men! :) Hope you are recovering from all of your travels!

It was so sweet to catch up with your family!
On spaghetti night I always have to wash out the bathtub before going to bed...there's a strage red ring around it if I don't :-)
