CVS Deal

I played shopped my weekly CVS deal this afternoon. I feel very good about my purchases. Here they are:

All this cost me nothing out of pocket, but I did have to give them $13 in extra care bucks. But have no fear, I was given $13.50 in ECB. And this is how I did it:

Tone Bar Soap - Sale Price: $1.88 ECB: $1.00
I used a $1 off manufacture coupon. Final Price: .88 (Free after ECB)

Colgate 360 Toothbrush - Sale Price: $2.99ECB: $2.00
I used a $1 off manufacture coupon. Final Price: $1.99 (Free after ECB)

Buy $20 in Dove/Degree Selected Products receive $10 in ECB:
Degree Clinical Deodorant - Sale Price: $6.00
I used a $2 off manufacture coupon. Final Price: $4.00

2 Dove Bodywash - Sale Price: $7.00
I used two $1.50 off manufacture coupons. Final Price: $5.50

I had to buy a caramel piece of candy for .33 to even out some ECB bucks I needed to use.

I used a $5 off $25 purchase coupon

Total Price After Coupons: $13.20
Tax: $1.62
TOTAL: $14.82

I paid $13 of that in ECB - you cannot use your ECB for tax so I had a balance of .20 plus my tax and I put that on my gift card that I still have left over from transferring my prescription. It is turning into what I pay the tax with.

I got back $13.50 in ECB. I have no idea where the .50 came from but it printed out on my receipt! Thank you Lord! :)

So I actually made ECB money today (despite the tax) I walked out with .50 more in ECB money then I walked in with.

Sounds good to me!

The $.50 probably came from your summer spending. With your extra care card, you get 2% back after every quarter!!! HTH
