The pediatrician did all of their measurements and weights today as well. The little men still aren't in a percentile. But he said that they give them 2 years to catch up. Michael weighs 8lbs6oz and he is 21 inches long. Jeremiah weighs 8lbs7oz and is 20 inches long. At first I was shocked because just yesterday Jeremiah was 8lbs2oz - but they said that everyones scale is different.
The boys weren't the only ones to have a bad day - I went to the doctor today. This morning I woke up and knew it was mastitis. And my doctor agreed - I have it worse then the last time. She gave me a stronger dose of antibiotics and also diflucan to prevent yeast. I told Mike that I can deal with the mastitis because I know that within 2 days I will feel better, but I don't know if I can handle the yeast again. I am going to try to get through this obstacle, but if anything comes up, I am afraid that will be it for me and breastfeeding. I can only take so much!
Here is one reason I don't want the yeast again:
Last time I had a yeast infection I had to do a treatment called "Gentian Violet" it turns everything purple on the boys and their clothes. That is why Michaels nose and mouth is purple.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mastitis-AGAIN!!! That is terrible...I hope it goes away very quickly and that you do not get a yeast infection this time. Man, you have definitely had a rough time in the breastfeeding department-kudos for persevering! :) So sad about the boys' shots, especially Michael. :( I hope they are not too fussy for you-and hopefully they will sleep good tonight as a result.
Let me know if I can help in any way. Josiah has his 4 month pediatrician visit and shots on Thursday- but it isn't until 2-so we can come before that if you want. We don't have to pack if you don't want to-I can just sit with the boys if you want to take a nap, run some errands, or go out to lunch with Mike. Just let me know if you are interested!
One week at a time, one month at a time, that was how I always had to take breast feeding. Any amount of breast milk is great. You are a great mom as long as you feed them:) You just give them Jesus!
