Oh Please Forgive Me!

Dear Family members, friends, and possible strangers,

Please forgive my lack of posting. I know I go through this several times when I come back and apologize for my lack of posting, or only posting of groceries!

Life just gets busy - and believe it or not, I haven't even couponed daily lately! (I did do my shopping trips, but I normally spend time each day searching deals online and with coupons) When the laundry is piling up, sheets need to be washed, bathrooms need to be cleaned, babies need to be changed, and floors need to be mopped, coupons go on the back burner - as they should.

So this update is strictly a Spivey family update with lots of pictures of those sweet boys that we call our sons! No talk of couponing, except the fact that I bought $200 of groceries for $30, but anyhow.

We are getting everything ready for my family to come visit. The WHOLE family (minus my brother's kids) are coming to our house for Thanksgiving. I was telling Mike the other day that growing up I dreamed of having a home where I could host a holiday for my family! We are really excited and working hard to get everything in tip top shape!

The boys are cuter then ever and continue to bring us so much joy! I never could have imagined the love that you have for your children! It makes my head hurt from all their gritting of my teeth in expression of their adorableness!

Here are some things that the boys are doing lately:
- They are talking so much more lately! Their new favorite words are "Brother", "Shoe" " No No" (with a finger pointing) - (Michael was about to touch a table he isn't suppose to and Jeremiah told him "no no" while pointing his finger at it), "Elmo", "Bird" and "Coffee".

- Michael is becoming such a sweet natured child! He seems to always be thinking of Jeremiah all throughout the day. Whenever Jeremiah drops his milk, Michael is quick to pick it up and go take it to him! EVERY single time it is naptime or bedtime I will say "Go to your beds." and they will walk straight to their room and Michael will go STRAIGHT to Jeremiah's bed and get his pacifier and give it to him. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It is so adorable. If I am changing Jeremiah in the living room and he is crying (his diaper rash can get bad very quickly at times) Michael will go the room, get his paci, and give it to him. He is so precious!

- We are slowing down on introducing more sign language. So far they can sign "more", "all done", "no", "no touch", and "please." We are currently working on the sign for potty. I am just doing this one to begin to introduce the idea. When I know they are having a "movement" I will do it so they can begin to associate that with potty. I think these are the only ones I am going to do now that they are starting to talk more. I have tried to introduce thank you, and I may still work at it, but that was one of their first words so they are really good at saying it at the appropriate times, without even being prompted. My favorite sign right now is "please." When I have something amazingly good to them (cupcake, pudding, etc...) they will do the sign VERY frantically. In their minds they think the more aggressive they do it the faster that treat will be in their mouth! It is adorable!

- Michael can now say Jeremiah! I never though his name would be the first one he would say just because it seems kind of tough for a kid. Now, it does sound like "herymia" but I am so impressed that he knows that is his name! We have tried to get him to say his own name but no success yet - but he's good at saying his brothers! Cute Kazoote!

Well - here is a video of the other day when Mike was getting them up from their nap!

Here are a ton of pictures for you guys! I have another set but will save that for a post later this week!

Figured I rarely put a picture of us on here, so here is one. Check out Mike's beard (it is more full in real life). I am not a huge fan of the burly look but he is determined to keep it until he kills a deer... so, I encourage hunting, so that a deer will be killed, so that I will be able to see smooth cheeks again!
The boys spent the whole time in Publix the other day lovin' on each other. You can say "Love your brother" and they will do this. This day they never stopped! It was very cute and of course, drew lots of attention (As if we don't get it anyhow by taking adorable twin boys out!)

I think he is so adorable in this picture!

The first one that gets down from the highchair first will ALWAYS go to the other one and eat food of his tray.

I am not sure how he did this.

We borrowed this slide from our pastor's family. The boys have just learned how to climb up and slide down by themselves!

Mike made this chair for the boys! They love it and Mike did a great job!

This is how he eats his banana. He doesn't hold it at the bottom, but holds it by the peel! I have tried to take his hand and put it down, but he prefers the peel!

Mike was in the kitchen and walked in the living room and found this:

I love these boys!
