Mema bought the boys these outfits and I decided to put them on them today to see if they fit. Are they not ADORABLE in them!!! You could just eat 'em up!!!!
The boys turned 6 weeks old yesterday! They are growing so quickly! We went to the pediatrician yesterday and they got their one month shots! :( Mike had to hold them down while I walked out - then when one baby had their shot he gave him to me to cuddle. Mike said that they got RED and did the "Silent Cry", then screamed - that is why I wasn't in there. I was expecting them to be cranky, but they haven't been at all - they are tough guys! It's probably from all of their weight they've been gaining - Michael now weighs 7 pounds and 1 ounce - he gained 4 ounces in 5 days. Jeremiah wieghs 7 pounds 3 ounces - he gained ELEVEN ounces in FIVE days!!! I couldn't believe it so I asked her to re-weigh him!
Also while we were at the pediatrician I met with the lactation consultant (once again). I am having more and more issues with the yeast and pain while they feed that I have to do something and it has to be done QUICK or I am about to lose my determination to keep breast feeding. We are going to try a few more remedies to knock out the yeast and she said by doing these things I should be better in a week - after I get rid of the yeast I am going to give myself a few more weeks and if things don't improve, then we will pray about what next. This is one of the most discouraging things I have ever done - it just seems like I can't get a break. I feel like I can take 5 steps forward and then 20 steps back. Please pray for me in this issue - I REALLY want to breastfeed the boys for AT LEAST six months, but if this is how it is going to be that whole time, I am not sure if I can do it. Hopefully soon things will get better - I think I have been saying that for 3 weeks now. ARGH!!!
One of my preschool students,, Makayla came over with her mom and grandmother and baby sister to see the boys. Her sister, Chloe, is 3 weeks younger then the boys and weighs 1-2 pounds more then they do. :) Here are some photos of their visit:

The outfits are so cute! :) They seem much more alert in some of those pictures. Can you believe it has already been six weeks since they were born!?!? That is crazy! Anyway, we are praying that things improve quickly for you! Take care :)
wow! They are growing so fast...they may pass up that little girl real soon.
Almost 2 oz. a day, seems like they are doing awesome nursing. That is great! I hope it gets better for you real fast.
