Sharing Pacifiers

I thought I would do a good job of keeping things seperate with the boys (I.E. Pacifiers). But from day one I realized that would just make my life more complicated. So they use each others paci's - normally I have about 6 around me at all times. Yesterday I decided it was time to sterilize them, so I only left two out - one of those fell on the floor so I was down to one. No big deal, one baby was fussy, one baby was content - perfect.... not for long. I put both boys in the boppy while I was paying bills to go mail. Michael had the paci but had settled down when Jeremiah got fussy - so, I took the paci out of Michaels mouth and put it in Jeremiah's (Now, don't think I am horrible, if you had twins - you would do the SAME thing :) ) Michael was ok with that for all of a second then he realized it was missing.

As you can tell from that picture, that is Michael's new "Fake" cry look. He was upset, but he was whining his fake cry. (It is rather cute - which isn't good)

Sorry, the light on this picture messed up - but it was still cute.

What these pictures don't show, because every time I would take the picture he would move, is that Michael was sucking on the other end of the pacifier. It was adorable. He is going to have to learn to share a little better - but we are working on it. :)

How sweet of them to share at such a young age! :) The pics are really cute, and it was good to see you and the boys today!

These are too cute...I found the gumdrop pacifiers online where you can buy them in quantities of one and ten. They even have pink and blue ones...I bought them from babyesscentials on ebay and they are individually packed like the ones you got from the hospital...in case you need more!

Hi Molly and Mike,

I am Ashley Flurry's sister. She told me about your twins and your blog. I don't blame you for sharing pacifers at all. If it had of been me, I would have reused the pacifer that fell on the floor! Three, five, and ten second rule applies at our house! My 3 mo. old son takes gumdrop pacifers too. He is still using his preemie green one that he got while in NICU (he was 7 weeks early).

I just thought I would leave a comment and let you know that I enjoy your blog. I know it has to be a lot of work with two little babies but enjoy it as much as possible. Before you know they will be bringing in frogs like you mentioned!
