Mike and I already celebrated v-day but he did bring home a card and Rolo's! What a catch! :)
The boys and I went to Lyons/Vidalia today for my Bible Study and afterwards we went to Wal-Mart to get some flowers to take to Malissa at school. The boys were so adorable - I got them both a rose to take to Malissa - when we got out of the car at the school I gave them each a rose and told them to be careful with it because it was for Aunt Wissa. Well, right after that, Jeremiah takes his rose and starts hitting rocks with it and then has he walks down the rail lets it bump each railing - ha! Boys!
We went into Malissa's class room and I let the boys walk in first and the ran right up to Malissa and handed her their rose! She loved it and they love her!
After our morning out, we came home and I had a meeting with the WMU director and another lady at the church about how I can be involved with the WMU and how we can work with them to facilitate/organize events to plug ladies into ministries within the church. Since we have been here I have been in prayer about things that the Lord would want me to be apart of and do here. He is brought my heart to several things and one of them is to try to start up a woman's ministry in which we help ladies connect and become involved and help grow them spiritually through events, Bible Studies, mentoring programs. Todays meeting was so encouraging and I look forward to ways we can be obedient to the Lord and minister to the woman at FBC. Really prayerfully excited!
Right when the meeting was over we went to Danielle (our babysitter) and her sister, Sydney's soccer game. The weather was perfect and they won 5-0 and Danielle scored the first goal! The boys love sports and really enjoyed being at the game.
When I finally got home for the day it was 6 in the evening! Margaret came over and so she helped me make dinner (which we didn't eat until 7:30 - yikes) and she brought us a chocolate chip pizza from Pizza Inn - my new favorite obsession! We are having it tomorrow too :)
