Today was an exhausting day for us. Michael threw up all through the night until around 4 am. I tried to go to sleep with him in the guest bedroom, but he threw up and then just couldn't get settled with me in there. So I put him in his bed and he finally went to sleep a little after 4. (and so did I) Then he woke up at 7:30 peering his little head around the corner of his bed. If he stretches his head far enough from his bed he can see our bed. We laid there very still for 15 minutes and then he turned his light on (we also learned that he can reach the light switch from his bed) - He was up! And he woke up happy - even after only 3 1/2 hours of sleep for the little guy. Mike said that he would get up with them so I could get some sleep but about 30 minutes after he got up Jeremiah threw up! :( So I was up. Honestly, I wasn't all too tired during the day but after dinner I am wiped out! After Jeremiah threw up he then seemed to feel better and both of the boys were happy most of the morning. They slept solid at nap time and we had to go in and wake Michael up and then he didn't wake up happy at all. Very grumpy! Mike left to go to a funeral viewing and so both boys were fussy, and sensitive and grumpy when he left, which made dinner and bed time a bit rough. I know they don't feel 100% :( Hopefully we can all get some sleep tonight and feel much better in the morning.
The boys have been really loving their legos lately. They enjoy building big towers (goofy towers, as Michael calls it) and, depending on their mood, they love knocking it down.
