Day Thirty-Three: February 2, 2011

Today was fun!

Mike and I both accidentally slept in, but it was much needed! We felt so much better this morning after getting some sleep. I got the boys up this morning and the first thing they say is "Go to Daddy's bed?!" So I put them down and the run right to Mike and climb in bed with us. I love this time. They will lay still for about 2.5 seconds and then they either climb on Mike or start wrestling with each other. This morning the prized spot was to lay on Mike's feet - go figure!

After the boys quiet time we went to Dublin to have lunch at Chick-fil-a with my friend Amy and her kiddos. I used some free coupons, so that made lunch even better :) We let the kids play in the playground but didn't realize how wet it was from the night before. They were so wet! We got in the car and Michael kept saying "I'm soppy wet!" ha!

We got home and soon after Mike pulled up! They LOVE it when Mike pulls up in his truck. Mike honked his horn a bit and the boys just loved it - laughing every time he did it! Now that we have the chime's on the doors they know it means Daddy's home - every time they hear their faces light up and get real excited - they love their Daddy! I've never seen two kids get so excited to see someone before! He brings them joy and, believe me, those boys bring their Dad MUCH joy too!!!!

After church tonight we had the best time playing with the boys. I have a video that I took just to document how hyper they can get - it is so adorable. I am going to try to upload them soon. Their personalities are really developing more and sometimes I can't handle the cuteness - seriously. As I was putting them to bed for nap this afternoon I told them I loved them and Jeremiah said "I love you too Hunny!" Ha! I laughed and he knew that I thought it was funny so he just kept saying it over and over again!

We are trying to teach them how to pray. They always say they want to pray for "two D-dub's" (D-dub is Andrew, a friend from Montgomery). Now it has moved to "two Spidermans" - I tell them every night that Spiderman isn't real (not even sure how they know him, we don't watch that cartoon). After I say that, Jeremiah asks for confirmation asking "Spiderman not get me?" No, spiderman isn't going to get you because he isn't real. "Spiderman no real?" No, spiderman's not real "Spiderman go sleep?" No, spiderman doesn't go to sleep because Spiderman's not real. Tonight we asked Jeremiah to pray and he said "Thank you mommy, thank you daddy, thank you wissa, thank you mimi, thank you michael, thank you miah" then looked at us and smiled with his head in my chest. Too sweet!

Love those kiddos!
I told them to sit like an Indian and the interpreted that as an onion. So the rest of the night they said they wanted to sit like an onion!
We've been reading Yumion books (about an Onion from Vidalia) and so Onions are on their minds often!

He came home from church wanting to make funny noises with his arm.
(Pretty sure a deacon's kid taught him that! ha!)

The Children's Place had a huge sale (with free shipping!) a while back and so I bought these pajamas. Yes I know they are christmas pj's, but they were $4 and 2 year olds (almost 3!) don't care what season they are wearing!!!

#33: February 2, 2011

Do you see what I mean about this cuteness going on? It is unbearable!
