Our first full day home.

We had our first night and first day home with all four of us. Last night was exhausting for me, so I know it was exhausting for my mom. They feed every three hours and the doctor doesn't want us to let them sleep long in the night yet so we are waking them up every three hours. So it takes us a good 45 minutes to an hour to get every one fed and for me to pump and then they need to be changed, AGAIN (they poop ALL THE TIME!). By the time you get in the bed you have to wake them up 2 hours later. Malissa, my mom, and myself would get up - they would feed and I would pump. They decided to get up to do the 7:30 feeding and to let me sleep through it - I slept until their 10:30 am feeding, so I felt somewhat rested, but my mom stayed up with them since 7:30 am. I know she is so tired - she is such a help and is so selfless and such a servant to us! We are so thankful for her!

Their day today was very good! They are good babies - we are hoping that stays that way, but it might just be a preemie thing to sleep all day and only cry when being changed! We are sticking to a schedule very well and hopefully when we get the "OK" we can start working on sleeping through the night and cutting out at least one night time feeding. When we first brought Michael home he was feeding every four hours - that is the schedule the NICU had them on. It was nice, because we only had one feeding during the night - however, due to his weight loss, the pediatrician wants him to feed every three hours.

We went on our first walk together around the seminary and they got to meet some of the people that had been praying for them!

Tomorrow we go back to the pediatrician and we will also meet with the lactation consultant again. That is very helpful! Tomorrow is the day we begin to practice breastfeeding them at the same time! That will make things alot easier because I won't have to pump if they both feed at the breast at the same time!

Below are some pictures from our day today.

My mom trying to feed them their bottles by herself. We are trying to find ways, so that Mike can do it if I am not home.
