They are here!!!

Two beautiful boys have finally arrived!! Praise God-they are here and everyone is safe and healthy!

Michael Dean Spivey
April 10th
12:07am
4 lb. 12 oz.
18 in. long

Jeremiah Haddon Spivey
April 10th
12:30am
4 lb. 12 oz.
18 in. long

She only pushed three times with Michael and 2 times with Jeremiah!!! She had a very quick and easy labor and delivery. Mike says that they look exactly alike-they both have some hair and are handsome of course! Dr. Nett is sending away the placentas-she said it is slightly possible that they are identical twins, even though they were thinking that they are fraternal. But they won't know the results for a month.

Both boys are in the NICU-but seem to be doing well. They are on oxygen-just the tube that goes against their nose. They are also on IV feeding tubes. But both of those things are very normal for preemie babies. Molly said she wasn't exactly sure of their condition, but that they are doing well. She said they should know more by morning-about how long they will be in NICU, but the Dr. said probably just a few days.

If you know Molly at all-you know that she would love ANY and ALL visitors!!! She said anyone is welcome to come starting tomorrow. But, she did ask that you please call her cell phone before you come by, just to make sure it is a good time for them to have visitors. So, please be sensitive to their needs and call before you go. If you do not have her cell phone number you can call Norton Suburban Hospital and ask which room she is in, and then be transferred to her room so you can talk to her. She will be discharged on Saturday, so you have until then to visit.

That is all I have for now-I will update tomorrow after I talk to her again. Keep praying that the boys' lungs continue to develop-and for Molly's speedy recovery!!
