While Mike went to lunch with some guy friends I took the boys to our old neighbors house to spend some time with her. The Lord has really used Cristal to play a part in turning my heart towards obedience in going to Soperton. They moved next door to us about a few months before we moved and we LOVED having them as our neighbors! We had a great time with them - the boys love their kids Micah and Jonah and I just love spending time talking with Cristal.
We then came back to the Vicks and the boys NAPPED! Whoo Hoo! Jeremiah ended his three day non-napping strike and he still seems so exhausted. When I put them to bed within minutes Jeremiah started snoring - he was tired!
Tonight several of our good friends from Montgomery came over to the Vicks for dinner! We had too much fun! We played Family Fued on the Wii and all that was just filled with sneakiness - never knew people could cheat and get so riled up over that game - I remember watching Family Fued and playing fast money - It was time to put all that practice into use and I failed miserably. :( good times, good times!
The night was filled with lots of laughs (and shouts) and plenty of jokes and stories that will keep us laughing for a while... We love these folks and surely miss them! And we expect to see them in Soperton for some visits!
