Day Ten: January 10, 2011

It has been Icy and freezing all day today! We stayed in - except for Mike, who went to the office. The boys have been so precious and adorable lately - they are developing their personalities more and more and are just growing up very fast! I will ask Jeremiah "Why are you growing up so fast?" and he always replies saying "I don't know" (While shaking his head).



Some cute things they said today:

- At nap time I was laying them down and I told Michael that I loved him and replied "I love you too" and I said "I love you more" and he replied "I love you more" (my mom and I used to do that growing up!) I then said "Mommy's loves you way more - but who loves you more than Mommy?" Normally the answer is "Jesus", but Jeremiah popped his head up from the crib and said with such enthusiasm said "Wissa!" (My brothers wife, Malissa) I said "no, who loves you more than Mommy?" and he followed it up with "Mimi!" so I then said no, "Jesus loves you more than Mommy" and Michael looks at me and says "Jesus Born!" I love how they are beginning to connect conversations together with other conversations.




- At the dinner table they have had more and more conversations with each other. Conversations talking about daddy's cup or their food. Simple things, but very sweet to see them communicating with each other in dialogue.



- Tonight Mike had a deacon's meeting and so before bed the boys and I were laying on our bed. Jeremiah was sitting on my back and Michael was attempting to climb on the bed. Jeremiah would take his own hat and toss it on the ground and say "Brother get my hat please" and Michael calmly restated "get your hat?" and walked over got it and gave it to him, then attempted to climb back on the bed - which then Jeremiah threw his hat down again and said "Brother get my hat please?" and Michael, very patiently, said "I get your hat" and got his hat and gave it to him. Then has he was trying to climb back on the bed Jeremiah did it AGAIN - this happened about 4 or 5 times until Michael said, while going to get the hat, "No throw it again, ok!" (and pointed his finger right at him!) The whole scene was funny and sweet how patient Michael was and then at the end he had had enough. Jeremiah obeyed and didn't throw it down after that!



I couldn't decide on the picture for the day - we took some really cute ones so I will just put them all up and label this one the picture for the day, but enjoy all the others too!

I took this picture during lunch when we prayed. The boys are so cute when we pray, the fold their hands up and close their eyes real TIGHT - they normally don't stay closed through the whole prayer (but what adults's stay closed either) and at the end the say "yay!" I was able to get a picture of Jeremiah praying - guess my eyes weren't closed either :)
