The one thing Mema told Dean (Mike's Dad) was to not talk about her at the funeral but about the Lord. And that is just what was talked about. Now, we did talk about Mema, how could we not? She was absolutely precious! But as Dean preached the service, he spoke of how Mema, being kind, loving, unselfish, was a witness for the Lord. How all those things that we all love about Mema, was used for the Glory of God. Her life was a witness of the love of Christ. We loved her, but God loved her more! We have such hope that she is with the Lord and Dean did a great job of speaking today about that hope! Mema was so proud of her "Preacher Son" and he did a great job, through the Lord, of honoring her life.
Malissa stayed with the boys again today while Mike and I went to the funeral. We couldn't be more thankful for her! The boys absolutely love Aunt Wissa and they had a great time with her. When we came home they were in the bath and were so excited to see us! (that never gets old!) I asked Jeremiah what they did today and he says "Ummmmm Rode Wissa's car." (She took them to the park) I love how he starts it off with "Umm" Precious boys they are!
I didn't have my camera with me, but Malissa took some today while they were at the park. So the picture of the day is a picture of a picture on her camera (She forgot her cord to put it on the computer)

That picture is just too sweet! And I'm so glad to hear the funeral went well, and was so honoring to the Lord!
